Dana Goldenberg, LCPC

Dana Goldenberg LCPCI am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 4 years of experience treating individuals and families. I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to my Master’s education I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Latin American studies and Spanish language. I work primarily with: adolescents, young adults, teenagers, members of the LGBTQ+ community, parents and individuals hoping to make lasting positive changes in their lives.

I specialize and enjoy working with challenges related to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image issues, issues stemming from low self-worth, relationship issues, life transitions, and family health. My integrative clinical approach is informed by a combination of humanistic psychology, self psychology, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and experiential techniques.

I have lived in the DC area for about 10 years. I enjoy live music, theater, and spending quality time with family and friends. Hiking with my dog, travel, and cooking are some of my favorite ways to relax, experience new things, and embrace adventure.

I believe that the right therapeutic relationship can help guide clients and families towards: healing, learning, personal growth and strengthening resilience.
