I believe in providing each patient with an individualized treatment plan that focuses on addressing each situation and developing positive coping strategies. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches which are personalized to meet your or your child’s needs and facilitate your desired outcomes. A collaborative approach to treatment has proven to be extraordinarily affective and I work closely with other professionals to prove the most comprehensive, continues care possible.

My continued work with in the Washington Metropolitan area contributes to my broad referral base of community resources of which can maximize the therapeutic process. I have participated on school panels offering feedback on various contemporary topics such as managing student stress, depression and anxiety. My extensive experience also has prepared me for complex mental health issues, diverse families, and crisis situations. Whether it is a situational concern or a longer term struggle, I am committed to working with you to restore stability in your life.
I grew up in the DC area, as did my husband. I believe that growing up in this area has provided me with a unique understanding of the strains and pressures you or our child may experience. I have a passion for travel and seeing the diversity of the world. I am an active person who enjoys the outdoors and surrounding myself with family and friends as often as possible. I believe in finding a balance between laughing often and knowing when to take life seriously. I incorporate a real approach in therapy, utilizing humor in an interactive and inviting style.
